Why I Don’t Write In Public

I have no business being here. Like, at all. I have an act to write before bed or my Vegas adventure with Matthew Murphy will be thwarted. However, I just had a teeth-achingly typical LA screenwriter moment and since I haven’t shared any of that shit with y’all in a while, and since folks [...]

The Revolution: What Did You Expect Edition

I actually have a hell of a lot to say about this week’s Revolutionary offering but I am weeks behind schedule on a script and it would be the height of irresponsibility for me to put valuable time into the blog when I should be, you know, doing my job. However — I feel [...]

Smells Like Teen Rick Roll

I can not explain why I find rick rolling so hilarious. It was a much needed stress reliever during the campaign. I had to wade through so many hundreds of emails each day that it was quite easy to get me to click on a link to the irrepressible Rick Astley and his [...]

Please Stand By

I’m in full-on, never-leave-the-house, forget-to-eat, sleep-weird-hours writing mode. About 14 pages into a new pilot, I’m doing my very best to avoid that fucking bitch Procrastination. Not easy. Revolutionary Revelation

Y’all!! How come no one told me Cat was on Conan Friday night? Thank the lord Syd had the good sense to send me the video. Sadly, wordpress won’t let me embed it. Stupid WordPress (sometimes I regret switching from blogger though it’s so much prettier ’round here now). At any [...]

A Quandary

I loaned out my copy of “The Wire” to a friend who just IM’d to inform me she has left the last disc in an airport. While my gut instinct was to end the friendship, upon further reflection I’ve concluded that having to wait till she returns to LA to watch the last 30 [...]

Rededication to the Revolution (Updated)

Anyone else feel like the season finally started tonight? Lot’s and lots to love. I was really moved by Kopono and Kayla in Mia’s piece (first tears of the season!) but if we’re talking about consistency — wholly immersing yourself in the world given then dancing the fuck out of it, Brandon and Jeanette [...]

It’s Official.

They’ve turned Nancy Botwin into an irredeemable cunt. Seriously, I want her to die.

Just pull the trigger, please.

Happy Birthday America, Belatedly

I went up to the mountains for the holiday. Little town called Idyllwild where I went to boarding school. One of my favorite things in the world is their 4th of July parade. It’s quaint yet non sensical. Makes me happy.
